Was not here for several weeks.. Been to native.. Got engaged.. Well, its one year and five days since i started blogging.. .. <= Me during my engagement..looks scared ..isn't..?

I was in Indonesia for about 5 days.. it would be totally unfair if i dont "Puke" something about it.. so... Indonesia... their baasha is baasha.. (name of the language) They don't understand Veg and Non -Veg .. many times i ended up having " Nazi " (rice ) ,Curd, and some fruits... There are Indian Restaurants (including Komala Vilas) but, they are generally found in Jakarta. Womenists will find it very difficult to pull on in indonesia... as one can find women in almost all sector.. Most of the employed own "big" cars .... at least 1200 cc.. Equally corrupted country (is that so.. ?) ... but major cities have good infrastructure.. especially the roads ... good engineering and nicely maintained... Their airport is better than Mumbai... If I get an opportunity to go to Indonesia, the next time, I will go to Bali; will certainly write about Sukarno and girls out there.. which wud be of much more interest to youngsters (:o>

nowadays i dont get time to update... yesterday in R Mall mulund, took a photo with Srikanth. We found a lot of cheerful young faces, in their prime, high in confidence, all smiles, generously "showing up" ... We were discussing for quite some time on the changes we find in the youth today compared to few years ago about the culture, the style,the approach.. etc., we are really worried... " Are we lagging behind... ? " Then saw the movie "The Breakup" (Jennifer Aniston).. a simple family drama.. Seems to be a remake of "chalte -chalte " (shah rukh and rani)... ? It’s raining here heavily, and the river has started slightly overflowing to the nearby fields... Another 2-3 feet rise in the water level, river may reach the gates of the housing colony... That’s what had happened last year, (remember Mumbai 26/7..?), water reached almost the flooring level of the ground floor of the housing colony; I was operating from Mumbai those days. Was away from mahad for almost 10 days.. On the way back to mahad on Monday, somebody was narrating about one of their company meetings on the reduction of usage of Volatile Organic Compounds in their process. The production manager was elaborating the change in process to all concerned present in the meeting... "As per the earlier process, we have to be dissolved in Chloroform...." where he wanted to mean that the product has to be dissolved in chloroform as per the earlier process .. It is not just funny, but very serious in the global scenario, where an entity is not limiting the VOC emissions as per their commitment to UN, the entity has no way but to close down the operation...

The uncle referred in the post "Anda naal..." is no more today... Two weeks earlier, he fell into coma after an accident in tiruchy just opposite to the Airport. The next day, the doctors announced his demise. We, are very close to them ... we have lived in the same colony , (our houses are just opposite to each other), for over 10 years.. and even after they left tiruchy we continued to be in touch with them on various ways.. We (including my granpa) used to call them "uncle" and "aunty" .. After my grandma's death ( I was eleven months old then), they become a good guide and a close family friend to us. We were supported on all our difficulties during those days. My Granpa was seen as an elder family person by them, and for many years we were celebrating diwali together.. Was in Bhopal for 3 full days (21-23 May) Had good time with Amma, Appa , Sister and Uncle. Landing was bit uncomfortable (Indian (air lines)) in Mumbai the wednesday (24th). The whole country is burning over the issue of reservations ; Quite evidently, politicians propose quota, and reservations for their political mileage and there is not going to be any benefit to those who really need it.. if one really wants to uplift the needy, device a system, where by the financial burden are taken care by the govt...no body is going to oppose it ... but quota is totally bad politics Another way of divide and rule.. " Kannum Kannum Kalandhu.." Yesterday, after reaching home in the evening, i get to see second half of "Vanjikottai Vaaliban" (1958) in some TV channel. Came the song sequence of "Kannum Kannum Kalandhu" (C Ramachandra) before the climax of the film. The song was so entertaining, as it used to be always ; I literally was shouting "Sabaash Sariyana Poati" along with PS Veerapa when Vyjyanthimala started dancing. I don' t know much about classical dance. I am really happy now a days.. I just got rid of my so called arrogance, my short temperedness, etc., Now a days, I see a world outside my work place.. Meeting relatives and friends other than my colleagues also, Pursuing or thinking of pursuing interests other than those related to work... Recently I had undergone official periodical physical fitness (Medical) test. I have grown up... grown up by 5 centimeters.... In 2002, when I joined, my height as per the official medical records was 165 Cm , and during the recent medical test, I found myself to be of 171 cms. Well, this rise is not part of my current year increment... Quite funny...huh.. ? (will arrange to calibrate the measurement scale..!!) There was an article in Sunday Times this week ... titled "I am Brahmin... " ; the following is in line with the emotions reflected in the article.. Politicians and Law Makers always talk about reservations in jobs in both private and govt sector. Let us check the rationale behind the reservations.. They have a list of castes which they have categorised as forward, backward, most backward, scheduled etc., The reservations in any manner in jobs / admissions in colleges are based on the caste system. Look at who are the beneficiaries.. Parents are doctors..son being from a favoured (lets call like that only na,,, favoured by govt !!) caste get admission into mbbs even at lesser grades thrashing a chance of a deserving candidate. Family is in a good business, entire set of children get into plum jobs just being from a favoured caste class, again seizing the chance of deserving candidates who really require a job for their living without much family background. The other one is with associates from our plant just before their fabulous performance... On personal front, had a flying visit to Tiruchy, on 4th been there for 2 days, spent time with Mother, Aunts,Uncle, Sisters.. Fortunate to attend Meisar Trust meeting on 5th ; fortunate enough to meet and speak with people of unique objective and mindset.. Went to my home after a long time (more than a year..) ; spent few moments in the corner room where.... Myself and my Granpa used to discuss about PV Narasimharao, Jayalalitha, Rajinikanth, Moopanar and the likes.. my granpa used to sing happily on GOD... I used to listen to his old memories...from the window used to watch the outside movements of the colony children, friends, girls...used to prepare, write, cut, paste for my manuscript-Vaasamalar... hmm... un forget ful moments; Collected the stories collection of yesteryear

I had an opportunity to stay in GOA for a few years, on a job offer. I have refused to take it. I don't know whether I have taken a right decision, but quite sure, will not feel sorry for it. That's a professional decision. But, personally, I think I may feel sorry, for not being in a place like Goa. To get away with that, I have planned to make frequent trips to Goa with and without friends. Any body joining ?
