இரு தினஙளுக்கு முன், டீவியில் சேனல்களை மாற்றி மாற்றி பார்த்து கொண்டு இருந்த போது, மிகுந்த குழப்பத்துக்கு ஆளானேன். ஒரு சேனலில், மிஸ்டர் பாரத்தும், இன்னொரு சேனலில், ஜானியும் ஓடிக்கொண்டு இருந்தது. இரண்டுமே ரஜினி படம் என்றாலும், இரண்டும் பார்த்து வெகு நாட்களாகி விட்டிருந்தன. முடிவில், மிஸ்டர் பாரத் பார்க்கத் தீர்மானித்தேன். 1985யில், வெகுவாகப் பாராட்டபட்ட வெற்றிப்படம் அது. அதன் திரைக்கதை இன்றைய தேதிக்கு, பொருந்தாமல் இருந்தததாக எனக்கு தோன்றியது. அதையெல்லாம் எழுதி, ரஜினி ரசிகர்களின், வெறுப்புக்கு ஆளாக எனக்கு விருப்பமில்லை. 22 வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு, அப்பா , அம்மா தங்கையுடன், திருச்சி காவேரி திரையரங்கில், இந்த படத்தை பார்த்தது நினைவுக்கு வந்தது. காலம் தான் எத்தனை வேகமாக ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. அதற்குப் பிறகு பத்து வருடம் கழித்து, அதே காவேரியில்,நண்பர்களுடன், இந்தியன் (1996) , பார்த்தேன்.. இப்போ அது பார்த்தும் பத்து வருஷங்கள் ஆச்சு... அடடா... எனக்கு இவ்ளோ வயசாயிடுச்சா... ?

அன்று இரவு படுக்கை அறையில் ஜன்னல் வழியாக, பால் நிலா ஒளி சிந்திக்கொண்டிருந்தது. எப்போதோ எழுதிய ஒரு கவிதை நினைவுக்கு வந்தது. “ நிலவு கூடத் தொட்டுவிடும் தூரம் தான் ... ஏறிப் பார் தெரியும்...”

Was in Bhopal for 3 full days (21-23 May) Had good time with Amma, Appa , Sister and Uncle. Landing was bit uncomfortable (Indian (air lines)) in Mumbai the wednesday (24th). Made two trips to mumbai (from mahad) in the last week ; Some of my friends, wellwishers whenever they see me, never fail to ask , "When r u getting married.. ? " " I don't know.." May be next time, if somebody ask, I will tell ... " ஏற்றத் துனை இன்னுமின்றி பேச்சுப் பொருளானேன், ஏக்கமது வந்துவிட்டால் சாமிக்கிட்ட வேண்டிக்குவேன் சாமிகிட்ட வேண்டினதால், துன்பம் துளி கூட இல்ல. அந்த இரக்கத்தினை எண்ணி எண்ணி உறக்கம் கொறைஞ்சு போனேன். உறக்கம் கொறைஞ்சு போனாலும், சிந்தனையில் மாற்ற்மில்ல ! மாறாது, தீராது, ஆவலென்றும் ஓயாது, அண்ணலிடம் கொண்ட எண்ணம் !! எண்ணமது திண்ணமய்யா, கல்லில் பதித்த செய்தியய்யா, வரங்கொடுத்த வள்ளலய்யா, எங்கிருந்தும் காக்கும் தெய்வம். தெய்வம் வந்து காப்பதினால் ஏற்புடைய வண்ணமாவேன், காட்சி பெற்று களிப்புடனே கடைத்தேற்ற வேண்டுகின்றேன். "

The whole country is burning over the issue of reservations ; Quite evidently, politicians propose quota, and reservations for their political mileage and there is not going to be any benefit to those who really need it.. if one really wants to uplift the needy, device a system, where by the financial burden are taken care by the govt...no body is going to oppose it ... but quota is totally bad politics Another way of divide and rule.. Already had my emotions reflected some time back in the post Reservations on 12th April 2006 ; Today read an article in Times of India on the preposterous move of govt on quota, opined by none other than a 1975 MBBS entrance examination "quota" candidate; Today a Top renowed liver transplant expert ; Great People Think alike.. :)

Started updating in ilamindian from today, Inda Naal Iniya Naal.... என் காதோரம் நரைச்சிருச்சு கடமை ஒன்னும் தெரிஞ்ஞிருச்சு தமிழில் இணையத்தில் எழுதும் வழி ஒன்னும் புரிஞ்ஞிருச்சு... நானாகத் தேடித் தேடி வெகுவாக முயற்சி செய்தேன் தானாக வரும் வரையில் எனக்கு அது கிடைக்க வில்ல. ராமனார் வில் வளைக்க இத்தனை நாள் ஆக வில்ல கம்பர் அதை கவி பாட இத்தனை நாள் பிடிக்க வில்ல எத்தனை நாள் ஆனாலும் விரும்பியது கிடச்சதனால் என் வரையில் நான் சொல்வேன் இந்த நாள் இனிய நாள் Attempted to " write " in Tamil after almost 10 years... Thanks to the friend who asked me why i dont write anything nowadays after reading the post Bachelor of Songs .

For the past few days, invariably i get to speak to some of my old friends one at a day ; It all started on Friday, and continues till date. Good thing, who ever I spoke to remember me...
