Ufff....
Much of my work relating to Stat audit for the current year are over..! felt somewhat relieved.
Will go back to mahad after weekend..

Almost...3:00 am in the morning... thought of leaving home (friend's place) after a small nap in the office premises ...

Just was having a final preparation for next day's meeting,.Also was listening to music india online..
I had choosen to hear 1984 songs.. heard from "Vaidehi kathirundhaal " and "Naan Paadum Paadal.. " ..

...In a shortwhile , I closed all my other files and started listening to the songs...
which made me think of specific instances 22 years ago ... (Oh.. i have become that old.!!!! ) and about certain close friends.

The anna and akka lived opposite to our house in tiruchy used to sing these songs very sweetly.. (Ditto SPB and Janaki...!). Some times my father used to support their songs by an electronic guitar.. I used to try my luck with a wooden stool producing beats (mostly disturbing them)..

They had a Record Player in their house (Erstwhile DVD players..!) where we used to hear songs from latest (1983-85) Ilayaraja Songs, Vasantha Maaligai Dialogues ... etc.,

Our sundays & summer vacations are usually spent with loads of fun...Hide and Seek games, Litte bit of cricket, Songs, record players, occassional films etc.,

(Once i was saved by that Anna, while drowing in a pit hole filled with rain water...!!)

They had a cousin who used to visit their place frequently. She used to elaborate almost all film stories with typical expressions, appropriate pauses and strokes.

We used to celebrate Pongal, Diwali together with lot of fun.
The last time I met them , may be during my sister's marriage in Sept 2004..

The songs that i heard, refreshed my mood, made me think about good old friends for some time..
I wish i meet them soon...

BCCI should stop playing against any country, till ICC comes out with new rules of use of technology for umpiring. BCCI shouldn't play any match, being umpired by Benson & Bucknor.
